The classically trained Danish pianist and producer Troels Hammer is unfolding yet another story with his new single ‘Avril 14th’ - a
cover of Aphex Twin – Avril 14th.
The melody draws one back to the flowers blooming in spring. Just like the meaning of Avril – “to open” – springtime lets nature open
and unfold its annual transformation.
No matter what humanity is occupied with, mother earth will initiate its work on making nature grow stronger and more beautiful. Nature always
strives to achieve harmony – it lies in its DNA.
‘Avril 14th’ is a tribute and hymn to exactly that.
